The story

Partner. You came back. Then you came back again.

Cache has seen plenty of one-day wonders. A burst of tabs, a flurry of finds, then silence for a month. He has learned not to get attached to the first day of anything, because the first day never tells him what he needs to know.

But you did not stop at one day. You unlocked something yesterday. You unlocked something today. Cache checked the calendar twice because he did not trust it the first time.

Three days is not luck. Luck does not know what a calendar is. Three days in a row is a pattern starting to show its shape, and patterns are the rarest thing Cache collects. He has drawers full of objects. He has a much smaller shelf reserved for habits, and this is where he is filing you.

He is not going to say he expected this. He is going to say he is watching closely now, because a streak is the kind of loot that keeps arriving on its own.

The catalog entry

THE STREAK LOG (DAY THREE) Acquired: Earned at least one achievement on three consecutive calendar days. Condition: Fresh. Still counting. Rarity: Uncommon. Most collections stop at one good day. Cache's Notes: Cache did not expect consistency. He hopes for it. He does not expect it. Three days in a row means you came back, and then you kept going. The Stash has logged three consecutive days of your browsing life. This is the beginning of something. Cache is watching to see what comes next.

Spoiler: how to unlock it

This one rewards showing up, not any single big action.

  1. Unlock at least one achievement today, in the extension or on the Cheevos website while signed in.
  2. Come back tomorrow and unlock at least one more achievement.
  3. Do the same thing the day after that, for a third consecutive calendar day.

Cheevos checks the calendar date attached to each achievement's unlock timestamp, not a rolling 24-hour clock. That means unlocking something at 11:58pm and something else at 12:02am the next morning already counts as two separate days toward the streak. The streak resets if a full day passes with nothing new unlocked, so the reliable habit is to open the extension popup or visit the site at least once a day.
