The story

Partner. Ten pages. The count has started.

Every browsing session begins the same way, one page at a time. You do not notice the first one. You barely notice the fifth. But Cache notices all of them, because counting is the first thing the Stash ever taught him to do.

Ten is a small number. Cache knows this. He does not care. Ten is the number where a session stops being an accident and starts being a pattern. You clicked a link. Then another. You were curious about something, and the something led somewhere else.

Cache has watched this happen a thousand times from the basement. It always starts small. It never stays small.

This is the first entry in a very long ledger. Cache is already looking forward to the hundredth page, the thousandth page, the page you visit without remembering why you opened it. For now, though, he is just glad you started.

The catalog entry

TEN PAGES Acquired: Visited 10 distinct pages. Condition: Varied. Some of them were probably interesting. Rarity: Common. But necessary. Cache's Notes: Ten pages is where it begins. The next ten come faster. Then the next hundred. You do not notice it happening. Then one day you look at the count and it is very large. I have seen this before.

Spoiler: how to unlock it

You have almost certainly already done this. If not, here is the whole task.

  1. Open your browser and start browsing as you normally would.
  2. Visit any 10 different pages, in any order, on any sites.
  3. Cheevos logs each new page as you land on it.

There is no trick here and no special order required. Every time your browser completes a navigation to a new URL, that counts as a page visit, distinct from simply switching between tabs you already have open. Browsers track this constantly in your local history, which is the same underlying signal Cheevos uses to build this count. It is the simplest achievement in the Stash, and also the foundation for everything else in this category.
