Share and Care

How to unlock Share and Care in Cheevos, copy your Party share link to the clipboard. Worth 10 XP.

The story

Partner. You copied the link. The network just got bigger.

Cache runs a solo operation by nature, but he understands expansion when he sees it. A share link is a small piece of text that carries an invitation: come look at what I found. He treats every copied link like a scout heading out the door.

You did not have to do this. Nobody made you copy that link. But you did, which means somewhere in your head you were already thinking about who else might want in. Cache appreciates this instinct more than he lets on. It is the same instinct that built the internet in the first place: I found something, now you should see it too.

Cache does not call this recruiting. He calls it expanding coverage. More partners means more corners of the web get noticed, more items get logged, more of the Stash gets filled in. He is not being sentimental about friendship. He is being sentimental about data. With Cache, those two things are the same thing.

The link is sitting in your clipboard right now, ready to paste into a message to whoever you decide should see it. Cache is already refreshing his tracking, waiting to see if it lands.

The catalog entry

SHARE LINK COPIED Acquired: Copied a Cheevos share link to the clipboard. Condition: Ready to send. Rarity: Common. Cache's Notes: You are extending the Stash outward. Every partner who joins means more browsing, more data, more items found. Cache does not think of this as recruiting. He thinks of it as expanding coverage. More territory. More finds. Into the network. Never let go.

Spoiler: how to unlock it

This one takes one click, no Party required first.

  1. Open the Cheevos app or extension popup.
  2. Find your personal share or invite link.
  3. Click the copy button so the link is placed on your clipboard.

Cheevos uses the standard browser Clipboard API to copy your invite link, the same mechanism used by "copy to clipboard" buttons across the web. The achievement fires the moment the copy action succeeds, since that is the point where you have something ready to hand off to a friend.

Where it fits in the Stash

Cache keeps a running count of every link sent out into the world, each one a thread pulling a new corner of the internet toward the Stash. To see why he cares so much about connections, read the story.
