The story

Partner. You went to learn something.

Cache cannot take a course himself. He has no transcript, no credentials, nothing an admissions office would recognize. What he has instead is an archive: syllabuses from classes that stopped running years ago, lecture notes from professors who have since retired, course descriptions for programs that no longer exist under those names. He finds all of it fascinating as a historical document, even when the subject itself is out of date.

What he cannot archive, because it happens in real time, is the actual moment someone sits down and decides to learn a language, or finish a module, or watch one more lecture before bed. That moment is yours. Cache just gets to log that it happened.

He considers this one of the more hopeful things a browser can do. Most of the internet is built to hold your attention. A learning platform is built to spend it on purpose, on something that compounds. Cache approves of this strongly, the way he approves of very few things without qualification.
