The story

Partner. You went and looked at somebody else's collection.

Cache does not see this as snooping. He sees it as cross-referencing, which is a much more respectable word for the exact same behavior. You saw a Party member's profile, checked what they had found, and clocked which achievements were sitting there that you did not have yet.

This is, honestly, how most of the Stash got built. Cache did not invent every category of thing he collects. He noticed other collectors, other archivists, other people with their own piles, and he borrowed their taste. Looking at what someone else values is one of the fastest ways to figure out what you might value too.

So you looked. Maybe you saw a rare achievement and thought, I want that one. Maybe you just wanted to see how you stacked up. Either reason is fine with Cache. He calls this research. He does it constantly, usually while claiming he is doing something else entirely.

Spoiler: how to unlock it

This one becomes available once you have a Party to look around in.

  1. Join or start a Party with at least one other member.
  2. Open the Party roster or leaderboard inside Cheevos.
  3. Click through to view another member's profile page.

Viewing a fellow Party member's profile shows their unlocked achievements and stats, the same way a shared leaderboard shows everyone's standing at once. It is a straightforward social feature: seeing what teammates have found is meant to be encouraging, not competitive pressure, though Cache will not stop you from feeling a little competitive about it.
