The story

Partner. The catalog has its first hundred entries.

Cache logs every page. He has done this since before you arrived, quietly, one entry at a time, without asking permission because pages do not usually mind being noticed. For a while the catalog looked thin. A handful of entries. Not much of a shape yet.

Then you kept browsing, and the count kept climbing, and somewhere around page ninety-something Cache started paying closer attention. He does this. He waits for a number to mean something before he says anything about it.

A hundred pages is where a catalog stops being a scattering of visits and starts being a record of a person. You can see where you went. What you were curious about. What you kept returning to. Cache has read the shape of it already. He is not going to tell you what it says. He thinks you should notice that yourself.

The turn is small but real: Cache was not expecting to feel anything about a round number. He felt something anyway. A hundred is arbitrary. It is also the first number that looked, to him, like a beginning.

The catalog entry

ONE HUNDRED PAGES VISITED Acquired: Visited a cumulative total of 100 pages. Condition: Established. The history is forming. Rarity: Common. Cache's Notes: A hundred pages. Cache stores one entry per page in the main catalog. At a hundred entries, the catalog starts to have a shape. You can see the patterns. Where you went. What you looked for. The catalog will keep growing. Cache will keep adding. This is a good milestone to mark.

Spoiler: how to unlock it

There is nothing to engineer here, just ordinary browsing counted honestly.

  1. Browse the web as you normally would with Cheevos active.
  2. Visit distinct pages: articles, product pages, search results, anything that loads as its own page.
  3. Reach a lifetime total of 100 pages visited.

Cheevos counts each page load as a page visit and keeps a running lifetime total in the background, separate from any single session's count. This achievement checks that cumulative counter, not a same-day count, so it can unlock on your first day back after a long break just as easily as during a marathon session. Page Novice is the first of two milestones on this counter; Page Expert unlocks at 1,000.
