The story

Partner. You built a Party. The Stash has a team now.

For most of his existence, Cache had exactly one method: notice everything himself. It worked, in the way that a single raccoon carrying a museum on his back works. Slowly. Heroically. Alone.

Then partners started arriving. One browser became many. And Cache, who is not good at admitting he needs anyone, quietly did the math. Five people browsing five different corners of the web find five times as much as one.

A Party is that math made real. You and your friends, pooling what you each notice, climbing a shared leaderboard, watching each other's totals tick up in real time. Cache gets better coverage. You get someone to compete with.

The turn: Cache expected to feel crowded. He runs a very personal operation. Instead he felt something closer to relief. The Stash was always too big for one. It turns out it was too big for one raccoon and too big for one person. It was never too big for a Party.

The catalog entry

PARTY FORMED Acquired: Joined or created a Cheevos Party. Condition: Active. Members assembling. Rarity: Uncommon. Group coordination is hard. Cache's Notes: Cache works alone. He always has. But he understands the principle of distributed collection. Multiple people, multiple browsers, multiple browsing sessions. The coverage is much better. A Party means the Stash grows faster. Cache is not going to pretend he is not pleased about this.

Spoiler: how to unlock it

This one is worth 100 XP because it takes real coordination. Here is how:

  1. Open Cheevos and go to the Parties section.
  2. Either create a new Party and invite friends with your share link, or join an existing Party using an invite.
  3. Once you are in a Party with other members, the achievement unlocks.

Inside a Party you get a shared leaderboard that updates as members browse, so you can see who is pulling ahead in real time. It turns a solo habit into a group one. Parties are part of the Cheevos supporter tier, which keeps the leaderboards running.

Where it fits in the Stash
