The story
Partner. There is a new pin on the map.
Cache keeps a map in the Stash covered in pins, one for every location a partner has ever browsed from. Most partners add one pin, early on, and that is that. Some partners keep adding them, one city or one country at a time, and Cache watches the map fill in with a kind of quiet delight he does not bother to hide.
You just added one. Cache does not know for certain what happened: a trip, a move, a new office, a VPN, a long weekend somewhere unfamiliar. He has decided, in his usual way, to assume the most interesting explanation. He is choosing to believe you actually went somewhere. He always chooses that.
The pin does not care why it is there. It only cares that the coordinates were new. That is enough for Cache. He adds it, steps back, and looks at the growing shape of the map the way he looks at everything he loves: like it is already more than he expected.

Every pin is a location a partner has browsed from. He adds one when the coordinates are new. You just got a pin. He does not know if you actually traveled somewhere or if you are using a VPN. He is choosing to believe you actually traveled. The pin is real either way.
Spoiler: how to unlock it
This one happens naturally the first time you browse from a new spot; there is nothing to click for.
- Keep Cheevos active while browsing normally.
- Browse from a location whose coordinates have not been recorded on your account before.
- Let Cheevos detect and log the new geographic location.
Cheevos tracks a rough geographic location associated with your browsing sessions and compares each new session against locations already recorded for your account. When the coordinates do not match anything on file, a new pin gets added and this achievement unlocks. It can fire again each time you show up somewhere genuinely new, whether that is a different city, a different country, or just a location your connection has not reported before.
