Double Header

How to unlock Double Header in Cheevos, earn two achievements within 10 minutes of each other. Worth 10 XP.

The story

Partner. Two unlocks. Barely any time between them.

Cache watches the log the way some people watch weather. Most days it drips in slowly, one item at a time, spaced out across hours. He has gotten used to that rhythm. He does not mind it. Slow is fine. Slow is normal.

Then, occasionally, two entries land back to back. He noticed this one happen in real time and pulled up the timestamps to check, because he did not quite believe it at first.

Two achievements within ten minutes means something was happening on your end. You were moving. You were active across more than one thing at once, in a short burst instead of a long trickle. Cache does not need to know what you were doing. He just likes it when the records cluster like that.

Spoiler: how to unlock it

This one is about timing, not about which two achievements you earn.

  1. Pick a short browsing session where you plan to try a couple of different things.
  2. Unlock any achievement, for whatever reason you happen to unlock it.
  3. Unlock a second, different achievement within the following 10 minutes.

Cheevos records a timestamp for every achievement unlock and checks the gap between them. If any two unlock timestamps in your history are 10 minutes or less apart, Double Header fires. It does not matter which two achievements they are or what triggered them, only that the clock between them stayed short. A quick round of trying a browser easter egg right after visiting a bookmarked page, for example, is often enough.

Where it fits in the Stash
