The story

Partner. Five files now. A pattern is forming.

One download could be an accident, a one-time need for one specific thing. Five downloads is not an accident. Five is a habit announcing itself. Documents, images, installers, whatever they were, you kept choosing to bring things across from the internet onto your own machine, again and again.

Cache does not distinguish between what kind of file it is. A PDF, a photo, a piece of software: in the Stash, a file is a file is a file, and every one of them represents the same basic decision. This is worth having permanently, not just worth looking at once.

He is not going to call this a collection yet. That word gets earned. But he is watching the shelf, and he likes what he is seeing so far.

Or collecting something. Or both. Cache does not distinguish between these. In the Stash, a file is a file is a file. All of them matter. Five is a good start.

Spoiler: how to unlock it

You just need five completed downloads, in any combination of file types.

  1. Download files as you normally would, across any number of browsing sessions.
  2. Let each one finish completely.
  3. Once your fifth download finishes, the achievement unlocks.

The count is cumulative and does not reset, so downloads from different days or even different weeks all add up toward the total. Cheevos tallies completed downloads through the browser's downloads API, the same event source used for the first download achievement, just watching for the fifth occurrence instead of the first.
