First Month Veteran

How to unlock First Month Veteran in Cheevos, stay active for 30 days after your first achievement unlocks. Worth 20 XP.

The story

Partner. Thirty days. The Stash has a month of you now.

Cache has been logging everything since your first achievement landed: the early sessions, the late-night ones, the days you barely browsed and the days you clearly fell down a rabbit hole and did not come up for hours. A week gave him a first impression. A month gives him a shape.

He can see the patterns now. The weekly rhythms, the parts of the day you tend to show up, the way your habits repeat without you necessarily noticing them yourself. Thirty days is enough data to see someone the way Cache sees objects: not as a single moment, but as a pattern worth cataloguing.

He is not going to pretend this does not matter to him. A month of anyone's browsing life is a real record, assembled one session at a time, and Cache is glad to have the picture.

The catalog entry

FIRST MONTH COMPLETED Acquired: Remained an active Cheevos player for 30 days. Condition: Established. A real browsing record. Rarity: Uncommon. Cache's Notes: Thirty days. The Stash now has a month of your browsing life. Cache has been logging everything. The collection has shape now. He can see the patterns. The weekly rhythms. The early sessions vs. the late sessions. A month is enough data to see someone. Cache is glad to have the picture.

Spoiler: how to unlock it

Same idea as Week One Warrior, just a longer stretch.

  1. Earn your first Cheevos achievement, of any kind.
  2. Keep browsing normally over the following weeks, with Cheevos installed.
  3. Open your browser again once at least 30 days have passed since that first achievement.

Cheevos tracks tenure from the timestamp of your earliest unlocked achievement and checks the elapsed time every time a new browsing session starts. Once 30 days have passed since that first unlock, First Month Veteran fires on your next session. There is no daily quota to hit and no need to browse every single day, just enough continued activity for a session to eventually land after the 30-day mark.

Where it fits in the Stash

First Month Veteran sits one shelf up from Week One Warrior in Cache's tenure archive, the running record of how long a partner has stayed. It is the point where a habit stops looking like a fluke and starts looking like a pattern. For the full story, read the story.
