The story
Partner. You downloaded something enormous. Cache made room.
Small files are easy to ignore. A document here, an image there, they slip in and out of a machine without ceremony. A file over 100 megabytes is different. It arrives with weight. It takes a moment to land. You watch the progress bar and you wait for it, because it is worth waiting for.
To Cache, size is a signal. Something this large is usually something that matters. A piece of software somebody built. A dataset somebody compiled. A high-resolution recording of a real thing that happened. Big files tend to be the finished, serious, load-bearing artifacts of the internet, not the throwaway stuff.
So Cache gave your download its own box. Not a folder shared with a hundred other files. A dedicated box, with a label he wrote himself, that says BIG CATCH. Naturally.
The turn: you probably were not thinking about preservation when you clicked download. You just wanted the file. But every large download is a bet that the thing is worth keeping locally, off the internet, where it cannot vanish when a server goes dark. That instinct is the entire Stash in one click.

- Find something genuinely large: a game, a software installer, a big dataset, a high-resolution video.
- Download it in your browser.
- When the finished file exceeds 100 MB, Cheevos logs the catch.
You can watch any download's progress and final size in your browser's downloads panel, which you open with Ctrl+J in both Firefox and Chrome. Large downloads resume automatically if your connection drops, because the browser requests the file in ranges and can pick up where it left off.
